DAY 2 - Remodel Continues

A tree and a rusty shed are gone from our now spacious and green back yard. As promised John cut our lawn and the crew worked on the inside. I helped with trimming of the branches and stacking them up for recycling. Dorin got a great deal on a KOHLER's soaking tub to replace the old blue tub in the guest bath :) Yheee!!!

It was a long yet productive day. I am not sure if you have ever seen Dorin in action, but he sets a rate on a high level and sticks to it all day long. While Dorin is at the job site I am looking for sinks and fixtures. Visited Home EXPO in search of sales, and found one facet I like , but it was the last one, and we need 2 same to match for the 2 sinks we are placing in the master bath.....prices are still very high there anyway. There so many options....too many......we decided on an oiled bronze finish for the master bath. It will look good. I just need to find a perfect combination :)

The house stared to breath fresh air again. All walls are gone now and a new lumber awaits to be used for windows and closet framing. There is lots of noise, dust and debris in the air during the day. I am sure the neighbors are wondering when it will be all over. So far we saw one of them standing out side of his house watching what's going on.

Good it does not rain. Electrician should arrive tomorrow to rewire the entire house and a heater guy is scheduled for Tuesday or Wed. Oh!!!! We got a phone call today our new kitchen cabinets wile arrive on April 3rd!!!!

P.S. Dorin parks his truck on the front yard....some adjustments were need to fit the truck in..... BRICK WALL!!! What wall???? ;)
