Day 45 - Our front yard - Bobcat part 2

OK, so the backyard is taking care of, now is time to bring to order front part of the driveway and pathway.....

Fence? who needs a fence, let's introduce a European model of open borders with the neighbors......that would be interesting..... Well, a picture says a thousand words.....

DAY 44 - Bobcat Rocks!

WOW!!!! You should see all the action and commotion going on at our place today. Our backyard was in desperate need of attention and Dorin rented out a Bobcat and a huge truck to level and excavate side driveway and back patio areas. The excitement was in the air. Noise and struggle between machine and earth. Ray, our next door neighbor, dreams of a swimming pool, so he hoped we are building one....sorry....we just cleaning out for a new and beautiful stamped concrete patio for summer parties :) Yheee!!!!

Day 43 - Closets, Crown Molding and Doble Oven!

Busy, busy day. So much to do on the finish work. Our new IKEA closets are installed!!!! I am very happy to unpack some of the boxes and remove our previous "walk-in" closet....;)

Dorin is a master of selecting and installing baseboard and crown molding. Everything looks amazing with the floors and wall colors. Wow! It is an awesome feeling to see your hard work paid of and a vision turns into reality.

Oh! There is a new addition to our........kitchen! Twins, you may call them : our double oven - great for baking lasagna, cookies and appetizers for that house warming party. It is a wonderful gift from our friend and Hayward Realtor Les Fohl. If you are in need of purchase or sale of your home he is the man for the job!

DAY 42 - Paint and more paint!

We had fun painting and enjoying the remodel.
Guest bath is almost completed. Finish work takes more time and effort and it never is done until it is actual done: rugs are in, drapes are hanged and we chill with a glass of wine at the kitchen island......yap, dreams d come true, so let's get back to work!

DAY 41 - Delia is in Town!

Busy time at our house. Delia, Dorin's sister, came over on Thursday evening to help us out with the unpacking, painting, cleaning, taping, and much more. It was wonderful having her over and give us a hand with the mess and variety of projects and care the house requires. We had fun, right Delia?! By now we are known by name at Hayward Home Depot.....;)

We worked, ate, drank, slept, talked and laughed a lot this weekend. Let's do is again soon! More photos to follow :)

DAY 38 - We moved in!!!!!

Our first night and a bubble bath at the new house! It is a mess, but it is our mess and we plan to have fun while arranging things and doing final touch-ups on the house :)

DAY 37 - Easter!

It was truly a beautiful day. We enjoyed Easter bbq dinner at our new backyard. Let's kick back, relax a bit and imagine how nice this yard will look some day :)
